Services are offered in-person and online via telehealth.

Mind-Coeur offers Online Therapy services (Telehealth) to clients residing in California, New York, and Florida accordance with the standards set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the State licensing boards of California, New York, and Florida. We use an application through our Electronic Health Record system that’s designed specifically for healthcare use. It’s similar to Zoom, but its full-encryption and HIPAA-compliance keeps your privacy preserved and sessions confidential. 

 

Adolescent Therapy

Being a teenager can feel like you are swimming against the current. Your teen is not alone. We are here to help.

Our team aims to build rapport and establish a trusting relationship with your teen so they will feel safe and open up to share what they are experiencing. It is through this trusting relationship that we build a plan to help your teen build the skills to help them navigate the stressors of life. 

We incorporate evidenced-based  practices into all treatment. We work to individualize treatment to best meet our client’s individual needs. Some of the treatments used include: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), social skills training, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills, exposure therapy, exposure and response prevention (ERP), Attachment, Regulation and Competency Therapy (ARC), and psychodynamic psychotherapy to treat the following:  COVID related stress,  Depression, Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity, Disorder, Parenting Difficulties, Peer Difficulties, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Anxiety,  Panic Attacks, Panic Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Grief, Mood Disorders, Mood Swings.

Sports and performance psychology is a type of therapy that targets individuals and or teams reach their potential. It can involve on-the-field action, or even corporate boardroom performance. Ultimately, it includes targeting unhelpful patterns of thought, coping, communication, and relationship patterns that stunt performance. In addition, relaxation techniques, visualization maintain focus on success.
