Clinicians

Dr. Linda E. Olszewski is the founder and Director of Mind Coeur, and has a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.  Dr. Olszewski works closely with clients with an aim of helping clients heal, improve performance, and find a life of sustainable happiness.

Dr. Olszewski is licensed in the state of California, New York, and Florida.

Dr. Olszewski has acted clinical director of clinics in New York City and in Los Angeles. She has been responsible for training both psychologists and psychiatrists, and serves on the board of Equal Shot Academy in Northern Florida.  Dr. Olszewski’s own research considers parenting and current challenges, the benefits of teamwork in times of distress, and trauma and adolescence.

As a popular Psychology Today blogger (Drifting into Adulthood), Dr. Olszewski joins the national conversation on adolescence.

Education, Experience, & Expertise:

Dr. Olszewski earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at Pace University in New York City, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association. She completed her doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the highly-competitive Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, in New York City. She received intensive training in adolescence, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, gender dysphoria, OCD, primary care and health psychology, parenting, and trauma. She also spearheaded a teen-parenting program.

Dr. Olszewski went on to work on faculty at the the Adolescent Health Center part of Mount Sinai Hospital, serving as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine and the co-assistant director of the psychology training program.

Dr. Olszewski has since worked as a lead psychologist for at Pace University in New York City, where she oversaw clinical training and operations and at UCLA where she managed an outpatient program and team of mental health providers.

Dr. Olszewski is a former NCAA division 1 athlete. She has an extensive and deep understanding when it comes to working with athletes.
